There was drama at Methley when a smart stumping by Josh Neal dismissed Tom Chippendale and ended Hanging Heaton’s innings on 172 to tie the match.

Jordan Laban (56) had led the way for Methley with Nick Connolly (54) responding for the visitors but Sudara Udagedara’s 4-56 and Neal’s quick reactions ensured a thrilling ending.

Chris Brice took five wickets for the second week in a row to dismiss Townville for 159 with Imran Rafique making 58. Woodlands eased home by seven wickets and sit top of the Bradford League.

Pudsey St Lawrence remain hot on their heels after Mark Robertshaw (48) and Barrie Frankland (30no) steered them past Cleckheaton’s 149 with five wickets in hand.

Josh Poysden (63) top scored in Farsley’s 198 and then took 6-49 as Lightcliffe were dismissed for 170, Suleman Khan following up a 4-52 spell with 41 for the hosts.

Muhammed Afridi (72) and Matthew Swallow (53no) shared a century stand and Bailey Wightman took 4-28 as Bradford & Bingley crushed Undercliffe by 151 runs.

There was also a century partnership between Adam Waite (64) and Dan Hodgson (52) as New Farnley made 211-9, seven wickets falling to Matthew Race. Alex Lilley replied with 5-22 as Wrenthorpe crashed to 78, Race top-scoring with 26.

Doncaster Town lead Yorkshire South Premier after beating Treeton by 121 runs. Bilal Anjam hit seven sixes in a quick-fire 106 and put on 168 with Duncan Heath (77) and Aamir Jamal weighed in with 71 in their 296-5.

Openers Mark Cummins (76) and Ross Diver (137no) put on 195 as Tickhill set a 257-1 target and a 5-57 return from Adi Sreedharan helped restrict Elsecar to 230-9 despite 97 from Saeed Anwar.

Jonathan Trower (61) top-scored in Barnsley’s 174-8 but a half-century from Sam Hunt ensured Sheffield Collegiate got home by seven wickets.

James Moorhouse (58) and Jack Wood (90no) starred in Whitley Hall’s 239-5 and Cleethorpes came up 19 short, Jordan Cook’s run out on 43 a key moment.

Usman Salah-Ud-Din hit an unbeaten half-century as Aston Hall clinched a five-wicket win at Wickersley, and James Wolfenden’s 55 saw Wakefield Thornes on the way to victory at Hallam, for whom Andre Bradford made 78.

A century stand between Sam Drury (145) and Ben Elvidge (41) spurred Scarborough to 292-7 and despite the efforts of Greg Drewery (69), Clifton Alliance fell well short.

That has Scarborough locked at the top of Yorkshire Premier North with Woodhouse Grange, who eased past Beverley Town’s revised target of 135 thanks to Chris Bilton (45no) and Tom Young (55no).

Duncan Snell (117) and Charlie Elliot (79no) headed York’s win at Sessay while Donavan Sinclair (57no) helped Dunnington recover from losing four cheap wickets to pass Stamford Bridge’s 120 total.

Cooper Smith (69) was the main contributor to Harrogate’s 173 as they beat Castleford by 28 runs and a half-century from Ed Brown (59) helped Sheriff Hutton Bridge past Yorkshire Academy’s 207 in which Matthew Revie made 72.

There was plenty of drama in the Aire Wharfe league as Addingham notched their first victory when Dan Ellis ran out Ilkley’s last man Rob Spivey (46) to win by two runs with five balls remaining.

Defending champions Otley continue to dominate, Jamie Pickering making 81 in their three-wicket win at Burley.

A 6-26 spell from Istikhar Hussain dismissed Bilton for 119 and even though Follifoot lost three quick wickets, Chris Becker (34no) and Nick Robinson (47no) saw them to victory.

Chrishna Graham included seven sixes in an unbeaten century as Rawdon overhauled Adel’s 178-9 while Ben Heritage (96) helped Horsforth pass North Leeds’ 217 with three balls to spare.

Charlie Swallow (5-27) gave Collingham the edge as Pool chased 172 before the game was abandoned.
