Bresnan released to shine for Yorkshire

YORKSHIRE will have Tim Bresnan available for two County Championship games before the Test series between England and the West Indies starts on May 17.

Bresnan has been cleared by the England management to play against Kent at Canterbury (April 26-29) and Leicestershire at Scarborough (May 2-5).

Stuart Broad’s Indian Premier League debut will be further delayed after the England Twenty20 captain was ruled out of all cricket for three weeks.

Nottinghamshire all-rounder Broad flew home early from England’s tour of Sri Lanka due to a calf strain suffered in the first Test at Galle.
