Cricket is new Yorkshire chief Arthur’s first love, says Graves

Between 1990 and 1994 he was sales and promotions executive of the old Test and County Cricket Board.

Joined Nottinghamshire as sales and marketing manager in 1994 and stayed in the role until 1997.

Became chief executive of Nottinghamshire – a position he occupied until 1999.

Made the short trip over the River Trent to the City Ground, where he spent 13 years as Nottingham Forest’s chief executive.

Served on the Football League commercial committee from 2004, overseeing the sale of Football League and League Cup television rights.
