Shaun Delaney (4-36) and Matt Walker (3-32) restricted Barwick to 162-9, replying to Modernians' 215-9.

Modernians are six points ahead of closest rivals St Chad's, who surprisingly lost by one wicket to lowly Walton.

Tony Daniels hit 66 and Duncan Taylor 49 as Walton improved their chances of avoiding relegation by overhauling St Chad's 216-8.

Scarcroft and Shadwell maintained their challenges.

Richard Stephens (46), Carl Shaw (4-35) and Chris Oldfield (4-29) gave Scarcroft the edge against Wetherby.
