England women end on high with victory

Bowlers Danielle Wyatt and Nicky Shaw dominated as England Women defeated their South African counterparts by 56 runs in Group A of the ICC Women's World Twenty20.

After disappointing results against Australia and hosts the West Indies, the defending champions' chances of reaching the last four were already over but England raised themselves to score 141-6 and roll the opponents for just 85.

Laura Marsh (33) and Lydia Greenway (34 not out) led the way in the England innings, with Jenny Gunn smiting 21 off 12 deliveries in the closing stages.

South Africa never looked likely to make any serious inroads into their target, with Wyatt taking 4-11 and Shaw
