Yorkshire host Leicestershire at Emerald Headingley in the final round of fixtures starting tomorrow, needing firstly to overhaul North Group leaders Derbyshire and then to finish as one of the two group winners with the most number of points from the three regional sections.

Yorkshire go into their game on 66 points while Derbyshire - on 71 - face Lancashire at Liverpool.

Central Group leaders Somerset (76 points) take on second-placed Worcestershire (70) points at New Road, while South Group leaders Essex (70 points) entertain Middlesex (59) at Chelmsford.

With 16 points for a win, eight for a draw and a maximum of eight bonus points available, it will be a case of calculators at the ready to find out which teams win through to the five-day final at Lord’s from September 23.

Yorkshire won their opening two fixtures at Durham and Nottinghamshire before home draws against Derbyshire and Lancashire.
