Rafiq in, Rashid out as Yorkshire spin their options

Yorkshire have dropped their out-of-form spinner Adil Rashid for their County Championship match with Northamptonshire at Headingley.

Rashid has struggled for form this season and has been replaced in the team by fellow spinner Azeem Rafiq, who has been rewarded for his patience.

Rashid has been axed after taking nine wickets in six Championship games at 49.00.

Mitchell Starc is poised to make his Championship debut, while Rich Pyrah returns to the Championship squad after a broken hand.
