Rain holds up Yorkshire

RAIN has delayed the start of the second day's play in Yorkshire's County Championship match against Nottinghamshire at Headingley Carnegie.

The players are taking an early lunch at 12.30pm and the umpires will make a further inspection at 12.50pm.

It has stopped raining at the ground and conditions have brightened up during the last half hour.

Nottinghamshire are 147-3 in reply to Yorkshire's first innings 178, with Samit Patel unbeaten on 37 and David Hussey undefeated on 35.
