Hanging Heaton are returning to the top flight at the first attempt as Division Two champions after an emphatic nine-wicket win over Hartshead Moor.

Nick Bresnan took 4-33 as Hartshead Moor were bowled out for 120, then Harvey Anderson (58no) and Ron McFarlane (46) sped their side to victory. With two games to play, they have 326 points which is already a Division Two record.

Lightcliffe occupy the second promotion place. They beat Keighley by nine wickets. Sadaqat Zaman took 4-28 as Keighley were dismissed for 138, despite 75 from Imran Patel. Chris Taylor (60no) and Jonathan Wilson (39no) saw Lightcliffe safely to their target.

Lightcliffe have 267 points and are 13 ahead of Mills with Old Lane a further point back and need 18 points from last two matches to clinch promotion.

Gulsheraz Ahmed made 116, Shehzad Azlam (83) and Zeeshan Qasim (50) as Mills made 304-4 before bowling out Windhill for 84.

Bowling Old Lane were in trouble at 8-4, but recovered thanks to Tahir Khan (91) and Mappa Bandarra (48) to make 201 as they defeated Great Horton by 101 runs.

There is just 20 points covering the top five teams in the Division One title race with four rounds remaining.

Pudsey St Lawrence lead by 11 points after their six-wicket win over relegated Bankfoot.

Bankfoot, despite 62 from Andrew Duckworth, were bowled out for 112 and St Lawrence eased home with Mark Robertshaw making 47.

Bradford & Bingley took advantage of Woodlands not having a game to go second. Simon Davies (88no), Naweed Ghany (53) and a rapid 70 from Chris Thompson took them to 284-4 as they beat Gomersal by 91 runs. Gomeral's 193-9 included 82 from Richard Gould.

East Bierley beat Saltaire by 117 runs to maintain their challenge. Andrew Rennison hit 68 in their 261-8, then Saltaire were bowled out for 144 despite 76 from Wasim Munawar.

Pudsey Congs maintained the pressure on the top four teams with a 19-run win over Yeadon.

Eugene Burzler sealed victory by taking 5-53 as Yeadon made 205-9 in reply to a Congs score of 223-8 which included half-centuries for Andrew Bairstow (55), and Mark Gill (54).
