Marsden were shot out for 63, Greenwood’s 19 overs and seven maidens proving devastating to the visitors’ survival hopes. Jamie Summerscales and Alex Kaye took Barkisland past Marsden’s total in just seven overs.
Shepley, already crowned champions, had their match at Scholes cut short by rain after the home side had made 241-4, Joe Carter striking nine fours and three sixes in amassing 104 and Louis Sykes including seven fours and three sixes in his 91. Shepley reached nine without loss in the first over when the match was abandoned.

Hide AdKirkburton assured themselves of finishing runners-up with a 75 runs win at Hoylandswaine. Kirkburton made 374-4 in 50 overs, Andy Smith and Gurman Randhawa figuring in an opening stand of 219 and Greg Buckley and Iqbal Khan adding 107 for the third wicket. Smith had 17 fours and four sixes in his 127 and Buckley made an unbeaten 93.
Ryan Robinson hit a highly entertaining 115 in the unsuccessful reply, flaying seven fours and nine sixes. Buckley and Tom Burkinshaw took five wickets each.
Bowlers were on top at Honley, who defeated visitors Elland by 44 runs. Chris Goulden had a 7-58 return in 24 overs for third-placed Elland, who bowled out their hosts for 164. Teenage left-arm spinner Tim Taylor then took 6-23 in 7.2 overs as Elland could muster only 120 in 45.2 overs.
Alex Scholefield made an unbeaten half-century and took five wickets for Skelmanthorpe, who defeated Delph & Dobcross by five wickets.

Wickersley pay price for their indiscipline
Wickersley have been left to count the cost of a 21 points deduction which has destroyed their title hopes.

Hide AdIt was imposed by the League disciplinary panel after a hearing following incidents at the game between Premier Division leaders Wickersley and Whiston Parish Church.
The League say ‘unacceptable events’ took place and found one player guilty of ‘general bad behaviour’ as well as verbal abuse of another player.
Wickersley were already playing under a 21-point suspended sentence arising from a game against Upper Haugh earlier this season. They will also start next season on minus 10 points.
On Saturday, Wickersley’s defeat at Elsecar saw the hosts put themselves back in the chase for the championship after following the visitors’ 142 with 144-5, opener Ainsley Swallow cracking 71 to steer the Armyoyd Laners to what they hope will be their 18th top-flight title.
They travel to Wath in their last game of the season.

Hallam were second-best at Norton Oakes, Abid Younas making 54 and Alex Hughes 42 of the hosts’ 183, Hallam closing on 176-9 with a half-century from Rob Marcroft.
Wath’s Mark and Rob Barlow claimed 6-66 and 3-16, respectively, as Coal Aston totalled 181. Wath failed at the crease, and were dismissed for 159, opener Derek Mitchell scoring 52 as Reece Shutt captured 4-49.
Aston Hall held guests Houghton Main to 188-9, Jon Barnett hitting 51 as Gary Steele took 4-57. Openers Joe Barker (51) and teenager Jack Simonite (49) put on 98 and Hall took the points with 189-5.

Wells gives Bardsey a final-day lifeline
No 10 Matthew Wells’s unbeaten 45 saw Bardsey clinch victory over Adel with one ball and one wicket to spare and may have rescued them from relegation from Division Two.
They are only four points adrift of Bolton Villas, who lost at Colton, and while Villas face promotion-chasing Rawdon, Bardsey take on bottom club Calverley.
Nick Smith top scored with 44 not out in Adel’s 200-7 and then picked up 5-62 as Bardsey struggled to 96-6 but a spirited 46 from Sameer Manjrekar and Wells’s final effort turned the match.

The promotion spots are also still up for grabs with the top three separated by only three points.
Leaders Ilkley could only manage two points against Thackley, who were helped by a stand of 93 between Paul Naylor (57) and Luke Holroyd (61).
That sets up a final-day showdown between Ilkley and Knaresborough who recovered from 137-6 to pass North Leeds’ 206-9 thanks to Graham Dodds (36no) and Adam Pryor (27no).
