Yorkshire first-team coach Jason Gillespie admits he is very excited by the prospect of watching a clutch of world-class overseas signings playing for the county champions this summer.
Yorkshire have signed Australian duo Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell as well as New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson and Pakistan’s Younus Khan for different stages of the 2015 season.
Gillespie said: “I’m looking forward to seeing them play and we’re excited about them putting on a show for the people who pay to come and watch us play.
“Hopefully even us coaches and players can learn something from these wonderful players.”
Gillespie also expects a tough title challenge in 2015 with Yorkshire seen as a prized scalp among their rivals.
He said: “We know we are going to be the hunted. We have just got to try and play the best cricket we can.”
