Crying Lightening is in line to strike

Ascot's Albany Stakes is shaping up to be one of the strongest juvenile races so far this season and Crying Lightening can give the form a further boost with victory at Sandown.

Memory came home a narrow winner of the six-furlong heat and has since bagged the Cherry Hinton Stakes while runner-up Margot Did is a leading fancy to claim Pattern-race glory back at Ascot on Saturday.

Crying Lightening's sixth in that event gives her every chance of glory in the Weatherbys Bloodstock Insurance Star Stakes at the Esher venue.
