Doncaster Knights 16 Worcester Warriors 37: Setback for Knights against leaders

WORCESTER Warriors completed the double over Doncaster Knights with a comfortable win at Castle Park. The visitors scored five tries to the Knights one.

The first half was a closely-fought affair with Doncaster matching Worcester in most areas of the pitch last night's rearranged fixture.

Andy Goode got things underway with a third-minute penalty. Tristan Roberts pegged it back midway into the half and added six further points before half-time.

Worcester took their chances and showed how clinical they are with two tries, one apiece for Fortey & Horstmann to give them a six-point lead at the break.

Worcester were comfortable after the break and added three more tries; Aleki Lutui touching down first, before Bruce Dougles secured the bonus point just after the hour and Miles Benjamin added a neat finish late on.

Doncaster got a late consolation try to show for their efforts as Matty Williams finished off a superb break from Oli Goss.

Goode added a penalty & two converstions to put a bit of gloss on the finishing score line.
