And the Whites were joined in Sunday's fourth round draw by Sheffield Wednesday - who beat Championship side Bristol City 3-0 away - Huddersfield Town, who edged out Dover Athletic 2-0, and Doncaster Rovers after a 2-2 draw with Wolves.
Ten-man Aston Villa beat Sheffield United 3-1 while Hull City crashed 3-2 to Wigan Athletic.

Cesc Fabregas snatched a late equaliser from the penalty spot to earn an Elland Road replay. Robert Snodgrass (54) had given United the lead from the penalty spot after Max Gradel was tripped by Denilson.

Kevin Davies (83) broke York's brave resistance, converting Sam Ricketts's cross. Johan Elmander (89) added a second.

Billy Sharp (41) and James Hayter (43) turned the game around after Nenad Milijas (38) had opened scoring with 35-yard effort. Stephen Hunt equalised from the penalty spot on 58 minutes but were down to 10 men when George Elokobi was red carded.

Terriers raced into 2-0 lead inside eight minutes, Scott Arfield and Gary Roberts on target.

Mohamed Diame (21) netted a rebound at KC Stadium before Callum McManaman (56) added a second. Substitute Nick Barmby (74, 89) netted twice, as Diame made it 3-1.
