Accrington Stanley v Rotherham United: Centre-back priority for Millers chief

RONNIE MOORE has ruled out a move to Rotherham United for Torquay United's Nicky Wroe.

The former Barnsley and York City midfielder was transfer-listed this week and is seeking a return to his native Yorkshire.

Millers manager Moore said: "You are always interested in someone like that, who scores goals, but they are looking for 100,000 or a part-exchange."

With Exodus Geohaghon's loan from Peterborough due to expire and Nick Fenton ruled out for a month with a calf injury, Moore has a greater need for a centre-back.

"We have one or two irons in the fire and we will see what happens," said Moore. "I like Exodus but they are also looking for 100,000 – so nothing is going to develop there."

The Millers visit Accrington seeking a victory after three consecutive league draws and Moore said: "It's a tough place to go. The pitch is on a slope and the dressing rooms are probably the smallest you have ever seen."
