Rhodes held discussions with Paul Lambert at Blackburn Rovers earlier this morning, with a report from The Sun suggesting that he was quickly told to leave.

It now sounds as though the former Huddersfield Town man could accept the original terms offered to him by Boro.

Leeds United are keen on Sassuolo striker Antonio Floro Flores according to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb. Apparently the West Yorkshire side are currently meeting the striker in a hotel in Milan. The 32-year-old achieved notoriety in this country after adopting a three day old baby that was abandoned on a train.

He said: “After seeing little Francesco, we followed what our heart dictated.

“I am a father before being a soccer player, but certainly not a hero!”

Leicester City have made Ben Chilwell available for loan again after realising that his first-team opportunities would be limited at the King Power Stadium. That has unsurprisingly led to interest from Huddersfield Town, where he impressed in the first half of the season.

However, Town are willing to wait until the emergency loan window to sign him again, according to the Hinckley Times.

Hull City are thought to be keen on Frazier Campbell, who was linked with a loan move to Leeds earlier this window. The Tigers are in touch with Crystal Palace over the switch for the Huddersfield-born player who helped the Tigers earn promotion to the Premier League in 2008 while on loan from Manchester United.

Campbell scored 15 goals in 34 appearances while at Hull.

Sheffield Wednesday, who are still understood to be in for Everton’s Aiden McGeady, are eyeing up Watford midfielder Adlene Guedioura.
