Aldershot Town v Bradford City: McCammon hopes to enjoy better future

The 31-year-old joined the Bantams last week on loan from Gillingham and made his debut in the 1-0 win over Darlington.

McCammon is likely to retain his place tonight but will be treading carefully after being sent off for a late challenge on goalkeeper Nikki Bull after just 13 minutes at the Recreation Ground last season when leading the Gills' attack.

Taylor said: "Mark did okay on Saturday. I think it showed he needs matches but his presence helped take some of the pressure off James (Hanson) up front.

"I will look as to whether two games in quick succession may be asking a lot but I am sure Mark wants to play."

New signing Gavin Grant could be on the bench after being signed as a free agent last Friday, but Zesh Rehman is likely to miss out with a calf problem.

On the visit to Aldershot, Taylor said: "They are a good team, who always put in energetic displays and have a good record at home.

"But we have won our last two games so are feeling confident. It was very important to win at home against Darlington last Saturday.

"I don't think the players got the credit they deserved because Darlington are a much better team than their record suggests. Plus, they had not played the previous Tuesday whereas we had been involved in a draining match against Rochdale.

"We didn't manage to get the second goal against Darlington to kill the game off but I was pleased with how we kept going."
