Barnet v Bradford City: Defiant Taylor insists I do know what I'm doing

PETER TAYLOR has vowed to continue doing things his way as Bradford City manager.

The 57-year-old is under pressure after a poor start to the season that sees the Bantams sitting second bottom of the Football League.

Fans have openly criticised Taylor but he insists: "I understand when results are not as expected that people think the manager doesn't know what he is doing. I have seen it before.

"But I won't change my decision-making because people see me as under pressure. And I do know what I am doing, I can assure you of that."

City have failed in their attempts to bring in a loan striker this week with Crewe Alexandra's Calvin Zola one of several who Taylor had been targeting.

Michael Flynn has suffered a reaction following his return to action in midweek and is out today but James Hanson is back on the bench.

Last six games: Barnet LLDLWL, Bradford City DWLDLL.

Last time: Barnet 2 Bradford City 2; September 19, 2009; League Two.

Referee: K Hill (Hertfordshire).
