Barnsley 1 Bristol City 2: Tykes suffer as Maynard strikes late

Barnsley lost at Oakwell as Bristol City snatched a late winner in the Championship on Saturday.

Nicky Maynard struck in stoppage-time to give Derek McInnes his first win as Bristol City manager and the Robins’ second success of the season.

Maynard lashed the ball into the top corner from the edge of the penalty area in the second minute of time added on to secure the Robins’ first league win since August.
