Barnsley

Walton. Would have expected to be more busy on his home debut, but was protected superbly. Was competent and alert in the stuff he had to do. 7.

Yiadom. Handed the captain's armband after being cast out of the squad, incredulously, in midweek. Led the way with a skipper's contribution full of determination and heart in possibly his Oakwell swansong. 8.

Lindsay. Immaculate, aside from a foul on Yennaris in the second half. Dominant force. 8.

Pinnock. Handed a first-team recall and took his chance with both hands. Assertive stuff. 8.

Fryers. His defensive contribution has been questioned this season, but picked the perfect time to prodice one of his most solid showings of the season. 7.

Mahoney. Give absolutely everything and produced some tidy contributions on the wing. 8.

Potts. Tons of energy, commitment and resolve. 7

Gardner. A mature, strong performance and dictated in the engine room. 8.

Hammill. In what could well be his final match at Oakwell, the winger produced a performance of heart, desire and leadership. Outstanding. 8.

McBurnie. Crowned as the Reds player of the season despite only playing 15 games, the loanee produced another picture-book moment to head in a key second. 7.

Moore. Missed a couple of glaring chances, but got on the scoresheet with a first-half fluke, but who cares. Another whose commitment was laudable. 7.
