Barnsley FC midfielder Callum Styles targeted by Brentford
The outstanding performances of the young Lancastrian during 2020-21 have placed him on the radar of several clubs, including the Bees.
Styles scored a key goal in Barnsley’s dramatic 'Great Escape' victory at Brentford’s former Griffin Park home on the final day of last season and his displays during 2020 have marked him out to be one of the most promising young talents in the Championship following a stellar rise to prominence.

Hide AdThe 20-year-old was rewarded for his progress when he signed a new long-term deal with the Oakwell club back in the autumn - with the former Bury player contracted until the summer of 2023.
The club also retain the option for a further year.
It puts Barnsley in a strong position regarding interest for Styles, who joined the club from Bury in August 2018.
He immediately returned to the Shakers on a half-season loan before heading back to Oakwell, with the schemer - at home in several positions across midfield - rising to prominence during the second half of last season.
