Bradford City, Barnsley and Doncaster Rovers had that winning feeling in League One.

All three Yorkshire clubs picked up three points from their respective games.

Phil Parkinson’s Bantams beat Crewe 2-0 at Valley Parade thanks to second-half goals from Arron McLean and Gary Liddle.

Barnsley beat former manager Keith Hill on their visit to Rochdale 1-0, defender Peter Ramage netting the all-important goal on 10 minutes. The Reds’ Conor Hourihane missed a late penalty.

Goals from James Coppinger and Nathan Tyson helped Doncaster Rovers beat Scunthorpe United 2-1. Rory Fallon had given the Iron a 24th minute lead.

In League Two, York City were held to a goalless draw at home to Portsmouth.
