It is the final day of the Football League season with Doncaster Rovers facing D-Day in their battle to remain in the Championship.

All the Championship games kick-off at 12.15pm, and Rovers need to match Birmingham’s result at Bolton to guarantee their survival.

Elsewhere, Rotherham and York City will discover who they play in the play-offs, while FC Halifax Town can reach Wembley in the Conference play-offs.

Premier League

Aston Villa v Hull City

Team news: Allan McGregor and Paul McShane are still out but Maynor Figueroa returns to the squad after being rested against Fulham. Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic will again start up front as Steve Bruce targets as many Premier League points as possible.


Watford v Huddersfield Town

Team news: Philip Billing, 17, is included in the squad along with fellow teenager Duane Holmes, who made his first start in last week’s defeat to champions Leicester City, as Huddersfield head to Hertfordshire for the ultimate end of season encounter.

Leeds United v Derby County

Team news: Alex Mowatt, a substitute in United’s last two games, will miss the final day visit of the Rams along with Jimmy Kebe, whose hamstring injury has seen the loanee return to parent club Crystal Palace.

Leicester City v Doncaster Rovers

Team news: Rovers report a virtually fully-fit squad, with only Rob Jones out. Ex-Foxes player Richie Wellens returns. Matty James and Jamie Vardy miss out for City.

Barnsley V QPR

Team news: Peter Ramage plays the last game of his loan spell. Marcus Pedersen, Nick Proschwitz, Jack Hunt and Ryan McLaughlin have returned to their parent clubs.

Ipswich v Sheffield Wednesday

Team news: Sam Hutchinson returns from suspension, while Chris Maguire and Jacques Maghoma could feature. Lewis Buxton and Liam Palmer are missing.

Yeovil v Middlesbrough

Team news: Seb Hines and Jason Steele are set to start. Jonathan Woodgate, George Friend and Grant Leadbitter are sidelined.

League One

Swindon Town v Rotherham United

Team news: Richie Smallwood is suspended, while Miles Addison (ankle) is doubtful. Mark Bradley is a long-term absentee.

Tranmere Rovers v Bradford City

Team news: James Hanson will again be missing with the troublesome back injury that has dogged his final few weeks of the campaign, but Rory McArdle (ankle) and Nathan Doyle (groin) should both be fit.

Sheffield United v Coventry City

Team news: Defenders Neill Collins (ankle) and Matt Hill (calf) are both doubtful for the Blades in their final home game.

League Two

Scunthorpe United v York City

Team news: Nigel Worthington has promised to field a strong side on the final day of the regular season, with the caveat that his players must not do anything rash and risk suspension wrecking the club’s play-off campaign.

Conference play-offs

Cambridge United v FC Halifax Town

Team news: Lee Gregory got a kick on his calf in Wednesday’s first leg but is certain to start after declaring himself fit. Josh Wilson had to sit out the win after injuring his ankle in the final game of the regular season but hopes to be available.
