Barnsley signing made to wait for Reds bow

NEW BARNSLEY signing Cauley Woodrow's Reds debut may have to be put on hold - with the striker being a doubt for Saturday's League One home game with Gillingham with a muscle issue.

Reds assistant head coach Andreas Winkler, speaking this morning, said: “He has a problem in a muscle. I am not sure if he can train (today) and play on Saturday.”

Winkler also revealed that Lloyd Isgrove is a week away from a return to training. Dimitri Cavare has a slight muscle issue, but should train today.

Ryan Hedges is still three or four weeks away from a return, Winkler confirmed.

Meanwhile, Winkler is not ruling out a possible addition before Friday’s loan deadline.

Midfielder Kenny Dougall has received his first international call-up to the full Australia squad - with the Socceroos staging a training camp in Turkey during the international break.
