The 21-year-old, who joined from Welsh League side Flint Town in July 2013, spent three-and-a-half seasons with the Swans, and helped the under-21s lift the Development League Two title in 2015.

Hedges, who had one more year on his contract, scored his first professional goals while on loan with League One side Leyton Orient in 2015.

He has also netted four times while on loan at Yeovil Town in League Two this season, with the winger impressing in Somerset, with the young defender also previously spending a short loan stint at Stevenage.

Hedges' arrival follows on from the capture earlier on deadline-day of Leicester City full-back Callum Elder, who has signed on loan for the rest of the season.
