Barnsley take Doyle off Hull City's hands

BARNSLEY have completed a deal to bring Nathan Doyle back to Oakwell on a free transfer from Hull City.

Doyle, who joined the Tykes on loan in September but returned to the KC Stadium shortly before Christmas, has agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract.

Reds manager Mark Robins said: "Nathan did very well for us during his loan spell and we are delighted to have completed a permanent deal to bring him back to the club.

"This is a deal we have been working on for a while and I am delighted it has come to fruition.

"I am looking forward to working with Nathan and having him back as part of our squad."
