Bogdanovic commited to Barnsley cause

DANIEL BOGDANOVIC insists he is fully committed to Barnsley and is eager to agree a new contract in the near future.

The striker is already in talks with the club about extending his current deal, which is due to expire at the end of the season.

The Malta international struck twice to earn the Tykes a 2-0 victory over Cardiff at the weekend and has pledged to continue his goalscoring form if he remains at Oakwell.

Bogdanovic said: "I know I can score and, if I stay, more will come. I have faith in my ability and the manager (Mark Robins) knows what I can do.

"I'm trying to concentrate on my football rather than my contract, but I'd like it to be done sooner rather than later.

"I'm committed to Barnsley, but you just don't know what's going to happen. All parties have to be satisfied with the contract first."
