Bradford City 1 Lincoln City 2: Boos ring out as Bantams slip again

BRADFORD CITY left the field to a chorus of boos after letting an early lead slip and sliding to a damaging home defeat.

They have now taken just one point from the last 18 and face a hard battle against relegation.

Lincoln were forced into a late change when Adam Watts suffered an injury during the warm-up and Patrick Kanyuka was promoted from the bench.

Boosted by their 2-2 draw at leaders Chesterfield, the Bantams took a sixth-minute lead with a delightfully conceived goal. Luke O'Brien found Gareth Evans who played her ball over the top to Dave Syers whose pass into the danger area enabled James Hanson to sweep a first time shot past goalkeeper Trevor Carson.

Bradford manager Peter Taylor was unable to give a debut to Scott Dobie, his loan signing from St Johnstone, because the striker's international clearance had not arrived in time but he was introduced to the crowd at half time.

After dominating most of the first half, the Bantams conceded a simple equaliser, Delroy Facey scoring against his old club with a far-post header from Kanyuka's high right-wing cross.

Lincoln's new signing Ali Fuseini left the bench at the start of the second half and the visitors grabbed an 80th-minute lead. Ashley Grimes ran through the middle and his shot was parried by McLaughlin to Gavin McCallum on the left and his powerful shot billowed the net.
