Bradford City must conquer away demons to achieve playoff target – video verdict

DESPITE a miserable 2018-19 campaign which brought relegation from League One, there was plenty of optimism at Valley Parade last summer for the bantams to secure an instant return to the third tier.

But, even though City sit ninth in the League Two standings and are just four points off the playoff places with nine games remaining, it has been a generally frustrating few months for all concerned.

Gary Bowyer was sacked after the turn of the year, to be replaced by Stuart McCall, who was persuaded to return to the club that is so close to his heart for a third spell in charge.
