Bradford City players get the coronavirus all-clear to start non-contact training

Bradford City will return to full-contact group training on Thursday after being a clean bill of health from their first round of coronavirus tests.

In all, 41 players and staff were tested and all were negative.

The Bantams will have two more rounds of testing before their League Two season starts on September 12. The tests are paid for by the club, and cost £100 a time.

Until now, the Bradford squad have been training on a non-contact basis, half in the morning, half in the afternoon.

The under-18s will start non-contact pre-season training on Thursday.
