Striker Aiden Savory is suspended for Avenue after being booked in the previous round against Kidsgrove but otherwise manager John Deacey has a fully fit squad at his disposal. Totton manager Stuart Ritchie has no fresh problems after leading his club to the first round for the first time in their history.
Park Avenue had a terrible start, finding themselves a goal and a man down inside 13 minutes. First, Richard Marshall was red carded on 11 minutes, then two minutes later Jonathan Davies put Totton in front.
It got worse on 29 minutes when Mike Gosney converted from the penalty spot to make it 2-0 to Totton.
Bradford pulled a goal back within a minute though via Adam Clayton to give the 10 men a lifeline.
But it didn’t last long at the hosts went straight up the other end to make it 3-1, Michael Charles on target.
Gosney netted the his second of the afternoon after the restart, before setting up Stefan Brown for a fifth.
And to compound Bradford’s troubles they were reduced to nine men on 65 minutes when Adam Drury was the second visitor to be red carded.
An inevitable goals came as Brown netted twice more to complete his hat-trick.
Jonathan Davies had opened the scoring and the Totton player wrapped up the proceedings to make it 8-1.
