Verdict: A slow start due to integrating new players who weren’t as fit as the rest of the squad. But we have coped well with loss of major players to injury such as Filipe Morais, Billy Clarke, Josh Morris, Steven Davies, Christopher Routis and Paul Anderson). Good loan signings in Reece Burke, Lee Evans, Kyel Reid and Jordan Bowery have been key to us now being in play-off race.

Where this season has gone right/wrong? Gone wrong with injuries, but gone right with good players signed.

Best moment: Phil Parkinson and his staff signing extended contracts.

Lowest moment: Losing 2-0 away at lowly Colchester on a Tuesday night in late September.

Best and worst opposition teams: Best team so far faced would be Bury, worst would be Crewe.

What needs to be done in transfer window: Extend the loan signings of Burke, Evans, Reid and possibly Bowery as well.

Predicted finish: Top six.
