FT Bradford City 2 Oxford United 1: Fagan and Hanson net for Bantams

Phil Parkinson saw his in-form Bradford City side finally pull clear of the League Two drop zone when they beat Oxford United at Valley Parade.

Ricky Ravenhill started a two-game ban after collecting his tenth booking of the season in Tuesday’s draw at home to Accrington Stanley, while Deane Smalley was also be missing due to not being allowed to play against parent club Oxford. Craig Fagan, James Hanson and David Syers are all back.

Craig Fagan put City in front with a 57th minute penalty.

And Hanson doubled the advantage ten minutes later, before Hall pulled one back for United.
