The Bantams are still on a high after knocking out derby rivals Leeds United in dramatic fashion six days ago at Valley Parade.

James Hanson netted the late winner against Leeds and then got on the scoresheet again on Saturday in a 2-0 win over Rochdale in the league.

Parkinson said: “We want to keep standards high whether we are playing Leeds United in the Capital One Cup, Rochdale in the league or Oldham in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

“We have set high standards recently and we want to maintain them.

“Hopefully, those same high standards will be enough to get us through against Oldham.”

Gary Liddle will sit out tonight’s tie with Matthew Dolan due to step in, while Aaron Mclean and Mark Yeates could be handed starting roles.
