AS ever there was plenty of action involving Yorkshire clubs aand athletes throughout the weekend.

We present another slideshow with fabulous images from the worlds of football, rugby union, rugby league and ice hockey.

Tony Johnson was on hand to witness Bradford City’s 2-0 win over Crewe Alexandra, while we also have images from Sheffield United’s frustrating 2-2 draw at home to Southend United.

We also have pictures from England’s memorable win over New Zealand at Wigan on Saturday, while Steve Riding was on hand at Headingley to capture Kevin Sinfield’s first steps in rugby union.

It may not have been the result the hosts were looking for, but Dean Woolley provides images of Sheffield Steelers’ 4-1 defeat at the hands of visitors Nottingham Panthers.
