Burnley 1 Ipswich Town 2: Ipswich do homework to sink Clarets

Burnley manager Eddie Howe, whose side remain three points adrift of the top six with eight games of the season remaining, was left frustrated with the inability of his players to create opportunities.

Counterpart Paul Jewell was disappointed with how his side’s performance dropped off in the second half.

Goals from David Norris and Connor Wickham put Ipswich 2-0 up at half-time and the Clarets hit back through a 68th-minute goal from Jay Rodriguez.
