Carlisle United v Huddersfield Town: Huddersfield put on alert over veteran Carlisle pair

LEE CLARK admits Huddersfield Town will tonight have to pay special attention to Carlisle United's experienced campaigners Ian Harte and Graham Kavanagh.

The duo have played a big part in the Cumbrians having turned round their season after an initially slow start with Saturday's 5-0 thrashing of Milton Keynes Dons helping Greg Abbott's Wembley-bound side into the top half of the table.

Kavanagh was rested for the win over Paul Ince's side but was an integral part of Carlisle's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern final win over Leeds United.

Huddersfield manager Clark, whose own side were held 1-1 by Carlisle at the Galpharm Stadium just 10 days ago, said: "I hope Carlisle don't score five again like they did on Saturday, that's for sure. It will be tough, they are flying at the moment and they have two really experienced campaigners, who pull a lot of strings. One is high up the field and the other is at the back.

"Ian Harte and Graham Kavanagh still possess a lot of quality even though their legs don't take them where they want to go sometimes. They are quality on the ball, so we are expecting a very tough game."
