Guiseley.

This was always going to be a tough game for Guiseley who were facing an in-form side who look set to be in the play-off places at the very least come the end of the season.

Cheltenham made the perfect start and took the lead after just a minute when Jack Munns got the ball past the Guiseley defence and found Billy Waters who was able to score.

Guiseley were soon two nil down when Rob Dickie was found and produced a powerful header to double the hosts’ lead.

The visitors could have got a goal back when Danny Boshell saw his header on target but it was well saved by Town keeper Dillion Phillips.

The keeper then prevented Guiseley Adam Boyes after he hit a powerful effort which looked set to go in and at half-time with the late chances created Guiseley would have felt they could get going in the second half.

But just after half-time Guiseley had a man disadvantage when Adam Lockwood was sent off with a straight red card after he brought down Danny Wright, and as the last defender the red card was inevitable.

And it was soon three nil with Waters getting his second goal of the night with a powerful finish.

Munns then got on the score-sheet near the end of the game after Waters cut the ball back to him.

And in added time it was made five nil to the hosts who were ruthless with their finishing and it was James Rowe, who had come on as a substitute, who finished off a miserable evening for Guiseley.
