Chesterfield leave it late as Bulls miss chance to turn table

Ten-man bottom club Hereford grabbed their first point in five games in a 1-1 draw against leaders Port Vale.

Sean Canham put the Bulls ahead with a close-range finish in the 15th minute but was then sent off for bringing down Justin Richards in the area in the 28th minute. Marc Richards scored from the spot to equalise.

Guillem Bauza wasted the chance to put Hereford in front just before the interval when his penalty was saved by Stuart Tomlinson.
