Crucible latest: World champion Robertson crashes out
The Australian faced a tough opening test against China Open winner Judd Trump in Sheffield.
Robertson took the first frame with a 72 break, with both players showing nerves, before Trump replied by taking the second.

Hide AdTrump edged ahead by taking the deciding black ball before a 79 clearance from Robertson restored parity at 2-2 at the mid-session interval.
A superb 122 clearance gave the 21-year-old from Bristol a 3-2 lead, before Robertson delivered a century of his own, 129, to level again.
Trump then made it 5-3, including a 54 clearance, before a 100 break from the world champion cut the deficit to just 5-4 at the end of the first session.
Trump mad several chances to increase his lead at the start of the evening session, but Robertson refused to wilt as he dragged himself back to 7-6 in their best-of-19 match.

Hide AdThat sparked a run of three frames on the spin for Trump though to stand just one frame away from a shock victory.
And despite Robertson picking up the next frame to stop the rot, Trump cleared with and 83 break to clinch a 10-8 victory
Elsewhere, Jamie Cope leads Andrew Pagett 5-4, Ali Carter needs just two frames to see off Dave Harold at 8-1, while Mark Williams leads Ryan Day 6-3.
Former world champion Shaun Murphy needs just one more frame to clinch his second-round place after a 9-0 romp against Marcus Campbell.
