Doncaster Rovers 1 Milton Keynes Dons 1 - Darren Moore satisfied with fair share of points

DONCASTER ROVERS boss Darren Moore said a 1-1 stalemate at home to Milton Keynes Dons was a fair result - despite seeing his side denied all three points late on.

Rovers had gone ahead in the 54th minute after Madger Gomes curled in a shot from the edge of the area against the run of play.

But Cargill timed his run into the area perfectly in the 88th minute to spoil Darren Moore’s day

Carlton Morris should have won the game in the final minute when meeting a free-kick only to send a powerful header over the bar.

“Because it was such a late goal in a tightly contested football match, you’re going to be disappointed,” said Moore.

“But I quite enjoyed the game. I felt it was a great game and, not to rub salt in the wounds of the fans, they would have loved it had they been in here today.

“Looking on the balance of the game, I think a point was fair for both teams.
