DONCASTER ROVERS have beaten off rival League One interest to sign talented teenage forward Rayhaan Tulloch on a season-long loan from West Brom and re-signed defender Andy Butler.

The arrival of Tulloch, 19, follows on from the capture of Arsenal striker Tyreece John-Jules, who joined the club for the 2020-21 campaign earlier this week.

Tulloch was also on the wanted list of Fleetwood and Swindon, but Rovers have beaten off stiff competition to sign the player, who previously worked with manager Darren Moore and his assistant Jamie Smith during their time at the Hawthorns.

The frontman and John-Jules are pushing for debuts in the club's League One home opener against MK Dons on Saturday.

Meanwhile, veteran defender Butler has returned to Rovers on a short-term deal until January.

Butler, who left Scunthorpe at the end of the season, will provide defensive cover after impressing on trial.

The Doncaster-born player, 37 in November, is also manager of Doncaster Rovers Belles.

The signing of the duo follows on from the captures of Taylor Richards, Josef Bursik, Jason Lokilo, Ed Williams and Cameron John.
