“He’s been a breath of fresh air with his work-rate and commitment.”
Coppinger has been heavily involved this season, with 24 of his 29 Championship appearances coming from the start.
Consecutive defeats to Gillingham and Shrewsbury Town have damaged Doncaster’s play-off hopes and third-placed Wycombe are far from ideal opponents to follow.

He has spoken to his squad about striking the right balance after Rovers and Shrewsbury were charged with failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion last weekend.
“While we want the boys to remain united and competitive, there is a line to draw,” he said.
“From what I’m hearing, from where we were last season we’ve come on streaks with the disciplinary side.
“I want the players to remain focused, determined and together and committed for the football club.”
