Diouf in clear over club fight

The former Doncaster Rovers striker was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder following a fight at the Circle Club in Manchester city centre in the early hours of April 15.

QPR defender Anton Ferdinand, 27, was also questioned under caution by police about the incident and was released without charge,

Diouf, 31, was among six men arrested by officers investigating the matter which left a 33-year-old man needing hospital treatment for head and neck injuries.

Three men have been charged in connection with the fight, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said.
