Doncaster Rovers v Coventry City: Give me new chance to prove worth – Kilgallon
The former Leeds United and Sheffield United defender moved on loan from Sunderland in the New Year transfer window but has been on the bench for the last six games as Rovers have slid towards the Championship relegation zone.
Sean O’Driscoll’s side have leaked 17 goals in those last six games and Kilgallon, who is on loan until the end of the season, is hoping for a recall tonight.

“I didn’t want to sit on the bench at Sunderland and I don’t want to do that here,” he said. “There’s still games left so, hopefully, I will get my chance. I want to play and I know I’m good enough to get back in the team and perform at the highest level. It’s frustrating but that’s football.”
O’Driscoll turned to Kilgallon during a massive injury crisis but now has players returning to full fitness.
The number of injured players has fallen from 14 to eight in the last fortnight but still includes goalkeeper Neil Sullivan, defenders James O’Connor, Adam Lockwood, Mustapha Dumbuya and James Chambers, midfielder Martin Woods, and strikers Jason Euell and Steve Brooker.
