FT: Doncaster Rovers 1-2 Burnley

Doncaster Rovers were all all-but relegated on Easter Monday after slumping to yet another defeat.

Dean Saunders has made nine changes to the side thrashed at Leicester but it made little difference to the outcome as defeat to Burnley leftb them 11 points adrift of safety with only 12 points left to play for.

Josh McQuoid gave Burnley the lead nine minutes before the interval with a dipping 25-yard shot.

Rovers then gave themselves hope when on 55 minutes James Coppinger crossed from the right for Chris Brown to power a header home.

But parity was shortlived as Charlie Austin fired home a penalty on 76 minutes to restore the Clarets’ lead.
