Darren Ferguson praised his Doncaster Rovers side for their determined display in a 2-1 victory over MK Dons on Saturday afternoon.
John Marquis scored twice to give Doncaster Rovers three points and send MK Dons closer to League One relegation. Ike Ugbo put the home side ahead at Stadium MK, only for Marquis to bag a second-half brace.
"We want to finish as high up the table as we can and get a good points total from our final six games," said Ferguson.
"John Marquis was fantastic in the match and got two deserved goals. We changed to play with more width and got a win through sheer determination. We had a period of total control in the second half and could have scored more than the two we did.
"The fans were magnificent again, I told the players at half-time to go out and put in a performance for them. I want us to finish the season strongly. Credit to the players for taking on board the feedback at half-time and show what they are about."
