PAUL DICKOV has hailed the signing of former team-mate Lucas Neill and says he is one of the most professional players he has ever played with.
The Doncaster Rovers boss has landed the Australian international on a one-month loan deal - to boost his defensive options with Rob Jones, Gabby Tamas and Jamie McCombe out on the sidelines.
The 36-year-old could make his debut in Saturday’s Yorkshire derby at Leeds United.
Dickov, who has challenged his side to hit back after the midweek loss to Burnley, said: “Lucas is someone I know really well and someone who is probably one of the best, if not the best, professional I have ever worked with.
“He will bring experience and he will definitely bring leadership.”
