Walsall 3 Doncaster Rovers 0: Dickov fuming at Rovers defeat

Doncaster manager Paul Dickov said he was embarrassed after watching Rovers slumpt to a 3-0 defeat at Walsall.

James Baxendale came back to haunt his former club Doncaster with the first goal before setting up a seocnd for om Bradshaw.

An Anthony Forde free-kick secured the home victory to leave Dickov fuming.

“I’m a little bit embarrassed by the performance to tell you the truth,” he said.

“I want to apologise to the fans, because they were brilliant and they are probably the only plus point.

“The players know exactly how we feel and if I can change things around I will.

“We set standards all the time in training and we fell well short of that today.”
