Yeovil Town 2 Donaster Rovers 1: Hayter back to haunt Rovers

James Hayter netted against his old club as Yeovil continued their unbeaten start to the new League One season.

The striker headed his third goal since moving to Huish Park from Reuben Reid’s cross just before the hour.

Doncaster sent on new boy Iain Hume after falling behind but Yeovil sub Gozie Ugwu, on for Hayter, clipped over the keeper late on to double the lead.

The visitors broke through when Billy Paynter forced home in injury time but it was too little, too late.
